Shelby County Schools & Memphis Charter School Reopening Plans

Shelby County Schools Re-Entry Plan

Based on the latest scientific data and continual increase of COVID-19 cases in our community, the school year will begin fully virtual on August 31.
This decision aligns with the overwhelming feedback of our families. Over 80 percent of families who selected a fall learning option requested virtual learning. Teachers will have options to teach remotely or in classrooms, but all students will learn virtually from home until further notice.

Charter School Re-Entry Plan

Memphis Education Fund has reached out to Shelby County area charter schools to compile re-entry plans as schools open for the fall semester. See below for more information and links to school websites where you can learn more about each school’s plan, policies and procedures.
