They are eligible for turnaround by the Achievement School District or the Shelby County Schools\u2019 Innovation Zone. A majority of the state\u2019s Priority Schools are located in Shelby County.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>While the number of schools located in Shelby County on this list is somewhat discouraging, more hopeful is the fact that the number has decreased since the list was last run.<\/li>\n<li>Many schools on the Priority List are already receiving \u201ctreatment\u201d as part of the ASD or iZone, so you don\u2019t necessarily need to write these schools off just because they\u2019re on the Priority List.
